1.Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern orders placed with La Jawaab Curry's, located at 42-144 High St, Hounslow, TW3 1LR, UK ("we", "us", "our", "the restaurant"). By placing an order with us, whether for delivery or collection, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.
2.Placing an order
- Menu items, prices, descriptions, and availability are set by us and may change without prior notice.
- When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the listed items, which we may accept or decline — for example, if an item has sold out or we are closing for the day.
- Order confirmation will be shown once we have accepted your order. Until then, no binding contract exists between us.
- It is your responsibility to check your order summary carefully before confirming, including item selections, quantities, and delivery address.
3.Allergens & dietary information
- Dishes marked suitable for vegetarians are prepared with care to avoid meat products, but are prepared in a kitchen that also handles meat, fish, and other allergens.
- We are not able to guarantee a completely allergen-free environment for any dish.
4.Delivery & collection
- Estimated preparation and delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume, time of day, and traffic or weather conditions.
- You must provide an accurate delivery address and a contact number where you can be reached.
- If we are unable to complete delivery due to an incorrect address, or because you are not available to receive the order, the order may still be charged in full.
- For collection orders, please arrive at the time confirmed to ensure your food is fresh and at the correct temperature.
5.Pricing & payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Delivery charges, if any, will be shown clearly before you confirm your order.
- Payment is taken at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to decline any order where payment cannot be verified.
6.Cancellations
- You may cancel your order free of charge only before we have begun preparing it.
- Once preparation has started, cancellation may not be possible, or may only be partially refundable, as ingredients have already been used.
- We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time before delivery or collection — for example, due to stock unavailability or unexpected closure — in which case you will receive a full refund for the cancelled items.
7.Conduct
We ask all customers to treat our staff and delivery personnel with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer who behaves abusively, threateningly, or fraudulently.
8.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown here, with the "Last updated" date above, is the version that applies to your order.
10.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
